Friendly canteen worker

The Children's Farm is an important (meeting) place in Leeuwarden. What is unique about Leeuwarden Children's Farm is that it is within walking distance of the city centre. The farm functions as a restaurant, where a cup of coffee or a snack can be enjoyed.

Besides admiring all the farm animals, children can play in the playground. The advantage of the large playground is that it is safe and orderly, especially for smaller children.

In addition, the petting zoo has also long been operating as various forms of day care, including for people with mild intellectual disabilities, mental vulnerability or NAH. The guidance den these people is done by meet & participate from Amaryllis.

Leeuwarden Children's Farm is looking for several enthusiastic people who would like to get involved in the petting zoo's canteen.
What will you be doing? You will be the point of contact for visitors!

Visitors come in and come to you to pay the entrance fee, maybe they also buy some food for the animals or some treats for themselves? You respond to phone calls, make sure bar duties are done (drinks and food) and keep the terrace tidy.

We offer a nice, cheerful workplace.

You will really become part of the petting zoo and we hope you have a great time with the visitors and your colleagues.

In addition, we work closely with meet and join and you may get help from a colleague from that team!

We are looking for someone who has some experience working in the hospitality industry.
You spend a large part of your hours pouring drinks, baking chips and snacks or serving a nice cake.

It is important that you are enthusiastic, friendly to our visitors and know how to get things done!
