Communication talent Rover Friesland

Want to see your texts published in the (local) media? You can! Rover volunteers do a lot of work, but much of it is not visible to the outside world. That is why we are looking for someone with a smooth pen and tongue who dares the challenge of getting our work out there. As communication talent, you will translate the department's work into publishable texts. You will also think up new ways to make Rover visible to the outside world and act as spokesperson.

What exactly are you going to do?

• Being a spokesperson for your department
• You build a relevant network with (local) press and other interested parties

• Writing reports and press releases on Rover's regional work
• Giving interviews to regional press and media
• Providing content for the website and any social media
• Provide communication within the department and to other departments
• Freedom to develop your own new ways of making Rover visible

What kind of person are we looking for?

• A spokesperson with political sensitivity
• Someone who is digitally proficient with various social media channels, among others
• A creative writer who can make content pieces understandable to travellers
• An independent worker who connects easily with the other volunteers
• A proactive communication talent who can assess newsworthiness
• Someone with an eye for beautiful imagery is a plus
• Someone with knowledge of ov is a plus but not a must
