Volunteers wanted Children's disco!

Do you love children and also like to party? Then this vacancy might be right for you.

Who and what and when?

Once a month on Friday afternoons at the community centre in Aldlan, we organise a children's disco for all children in the neighbourhood aged 5 to 10. Every disco, we all come up with a different, fun theme and make sure there are fun decorations and/or we make our own. You can use your creativity a lot in this.

The disco is from 15:30 to 17:00, hanging the decorations and getting everything ready we often do +/- around 13:00. Once the decorating is done, you can go back to doing your own thing, stay in the community centre or go home. Whatever you feel like. It is important to be back at the community centre between 15:00 & 15:15. At 15:30 the disco will open for the children and the party can begin! Around 17:00 we will make sure everyone goes home with a smile and we will clean up and leave everything tidy.

Tasks:

Below is a list of the tasks we perform around and during the disco. It depends on everyone's preferences and the number of volunteers who takes on which task. We coordinate this with each other.

• Decorating
• Selling tickets at the entrance
• Pouring lemonade behind the bar
• Entertaining children
• Leaving community centre clean

And most importantly, have fun with it!

• Enthusiastic
• From 20 years
• Available once a month on Friday or whenever you are available (exact dates to be determined)
• Present at decorating ( this is not a prerequisite)
• Present at 15:00/15:15
