District service point

Wijkservicepunt Bilgaard is an information point for all residents and visitors of Wijkcentrum Bilgaard. People can come here with questions about help, services and activities of the District Association. For example: questions about activities, volunteering, chores and the neighbourhood car.

The District Association cooperates with other voluntary organisations for tasks or work that is not directly in its field. Home organisations, Social Neighbourhood Team North and other professionals working in the neighbourhood can also submit questions to the Neighbourhood Service Point for their clients.

Job description
- Working behind a counter (face-to-face, telephone and e-mail contact);
- Setting up (meeting) rooms, if necessary equipped with audiovisual equipment;
- Being point of contact for the coordinator/business leader;
- Perform administrative tasks;
- Analysing and reporting faults to the coordinator;
- Fixing minor malfunctions on the central copy, fax, and print machines;
- Affinity and experience with (facility) automated systems;
- Plan and monitor own work and that of others;
- Good listening and probing to get the gist of the question or problem clear;
- Thorough and consistent search for information and solutions;
- Arrive at practical solutions within the frameworks established for the district service point;
- Taking into account the needs of others by being helpful and service-minded;
- Command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.

What do we offer you?
A friendly workplace with many fellow volunteers. You get the opportunity to develop yourself (course or training to do your job better) if you seek volunteering for participation or reintegration. With a work placement agreement, you get a volunteer allowance and Christmas package. In addition, there are several fun activities for our volunteers during the year.

Furthermore, you have a listening ear, perseverance, computer skills, knowledge of Open Office, perseverance, and you can handle confidential information and switch between different activities.
