Walking buddy wanted

My father lives in Leeuwarden (Nylan) and would SO like to get outside more often. He is almost 80, walks with a walker and finds it exciting to walk alone. Yet he has decided that keeping moving is important - and that deserves all the support.

Therefore, as a family, we are looking for a warm and patient walking buddy who would like to go for an hour's walk with him once or twice a week. Just a walk around the block, a chat along the way, and above all, enjoy fresh air and company together.

Unfortunately, we (the children) do not live in Leeuwarden, so we hope to find someone through this channel who enjoys doing something for someone else. Are you or do you know that person?
