This is a budget for neighbourhoods where Elkien lets out properties. The project makes a positive contribution to the quality of life in the neighbourhood or local area in the short and/or long term. This makes living in the neighbourhood or local area more enjoyable.

Oldeburger Orphanage

Anyone undertaking initiatives focused on youth and elderly care in Friesland may be eligible for a grant from the OBW. However, these must be activities of a social, cultural, community or historical nature.

The Roelof Steinvoorte Foundation is a fund whose aim is to improve the quality of life for older people in the city of Leeuwarden.

NLdoet

NLdoet vindt plaats in maart, een aantal maanden van tevoren kan je financiering aanvragen. Dit moet apart aangevraagd worden na aanmelding van de activiteit, die iets bijdraagt in de buurt, met nieuwe vrijwilligers. Het maximaal aan te vragen bedrag is € 350,00.

Abn Amro foundation

The Amrobank Foundation has chosen to focus entirely on children and equal opportunities, so that as many children as possible are given the chance to thrive. To this end, the Foundation works with around 150 primary schools in the Netherlands, where many pupils are growing up in difficult home circumstances.
