Moving with pleasure is the slogan of 058SamenSterk. This organisation is committed to helping people from focus areas pursue a healthy lifestyle. More than 50 people take weekly exercise at five different locations, and participants also take part in nutrition meetings, cooking workshops, healthy shopping and other activities aimed at a healthier lifestyle. Participants find that their health improves. An enthusiastic, spontaneous, motivated and enterprising volunteer is sought to provide sports group lessons. Group lessons such as dancing or walking together. Depending on the wishes of the participants and the weather, you look for the most suitable sports lesson at that moment.

Kitchen staff wanted

We are looking for friendly fellow volunteers for ‘T Kookpunt. ‘T Kookpunt is an initiative that has been running since September 2023, and we cook takeaway meals every Monday. The takeaway meals can be purchased by anyone for a small fee and are cooked in the ‘Knooppunt' community centre. The meals are varied and are decided each week in consultation with the volunteers. We currently have a team of three volunteers and would like to expand the team. We are looking for volunteers who would like to help with preparation and kitchen tasks, such as: Preparing recipes Shopping Preparing dishes Preparing meals for collection Cleaning

'Grey area of care' volunteer

'Grey area of care' volunteer

For our 'Grey Area of Care' project, we are looking for volunteers who would like to engage with the older target group within the Bilgaard neighbourhood. This project is part of Lab Noord and the need for this project has increased within the neighbourhood. We work together with various organisations such as Social District Team Noord and Thuiszorg Het Friese Land. As a volunteer within the 'Grey area of care', you are involved in the social functioning of the neighbourhood resident(s) and broaden their social network. Activities you can think of are: - Encouraging exercise, by taking a walk. - Keeping the resident(s) company. This by playing a game, thinking up activities to do with the resident. - Small household tasks; for example, doing the shopping, preparing meals, tidying cupboards or washing windows.
