Providing better support for voluntary work

The Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) has agreed to provide better support for community initiatives and voluntary organisations.
The aim is to reduce red tape, simplify funding and give initiatives a greater say in planning and decision-making. In this way, the VNG sought to strengthen voluntary work and the power of local communities. Read here more.
