Senior theatre The Rimpel

Senior theatre The Rimpel - A person is never too old to play!

The Rimpel is an amateur theatre group with a beginner and advanced group, which receives weekly acting lessons from a professional director. We meet every Monday afternoon: the beginners from 13:00-14:30 and the advanced from 14:30-16:00.

We think up our own scenes that are 'taken from life'. From these, we create our own performances that are used to perform, and even with great success! Fun is paramount, both in the lessons and in the performances. We laugh a lot!

We are a diverse group: not all 'Wrinkles' are equally vital, the oldest player is 92 years old! Some have a walker, a few have hearing problems and one has a form of dementia. But for playing, none of this matters. Lessons are tailored to the players' abilities and together we have the most fun! On our own website www.seniorentheaterderimpel.nl you will find much more information.

Would you also like to become a 'Rimpel'? Or would you like to taste the cosy atmosphere with us first? Then feel free to sign up for a free trial lesson...
