Help organise the summer programme!

Help organise the summer programme!

Description

Before the summer holidays, we from Solidair Friesland and COA set up the summer programme for the people currently staying at the emergency reception locations in Leeuwarden municipality. There are currently 4 Ukrainian emergency reception locations and 2 emergency reception locations from COA. At all
locations many children and young people stay there. For this, we are looking for volunteers to help guide and organise activities.

We offer a variety of workshops of sports, arts, culture and creativity in the summer programme. Activities for youngsters fall on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Activities for children fall on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. We keep a small group size each time, to allow personal contact and relationship building with the teenagers and youngsters.

This year, residents can also volunteer and help with the summer programme. You will work with different cultures and meet many new people.

As the summer programme continues to grow, we are looking for volunteers to help in the organisation. For instance, we need help organising the launch party and the closing party. Then there will also be some smaller work in preparing the activities.
