Home Start (family buddy)
Description
Do you have experience as an educator and would you like to support families as a volunteer? Then Home-Start Leeuwarden is looking for you!
What will you do?
As a volunteer at Homestart, you support a family every week. You listen, support in practical matters and play with the children in the family. You also help parents find their way around and strengthen their network. In an informal way, you often raise questions about parenting.
You focus on the things that are going well. Through your presence and input, parents and children regain self-confidence, things become more sociable and there is more peace in the family! In short, you give parents a helping hand where needed.

- Various (online) training courses from Humanitas Academy
