Employee recycling shop/day care

Due to the growth and expansion of our thrift shop/day care, we would like to expand our team with new enthusiastic colleagues, who have a strong affinity with the mission of our foundation (www.tejou.nl). The most common tasks include speaking to customers, cash register work, sorting and pricing second-hand goods, supporting the warehouse, restocking the shop and supervising young people.

Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the shop looks neat and attractive to customers. If you have creative insight, you will come up with fun ideas for the presentation of the goods in the shop and/or fun additional activities for the day care staff.

We are looking for colleagues who want to work all-round and/or in a specific department. The departments we have include checkout, warehouse, clothing, electrical, furniture, household goods, books and curiosities, parcel shop and workshop.

As an employee in the thrift shop/day care, you will naturally gain experience in all common tasks that occur in the shop, but also in the warehouse (e.g. sorting and grading) and of course in guiding young people. Besides having many contacts with many different people, you will also contribute to a sustainable world by reusing goods.

There is a super nice working atmosphere and of course you get the maximum volunteer allowance. A nice bonus is that you always have first choice when it comes to incoming goods as well as a discount on items in the thrift shop.

We are looking for new colleagues for Thursday and/or Friday for a full day (10:00 to 17:00) 7 to 14 hours a week. Experience is not a requirement, a good sense is -:).
