Always Father

Good contact between fathers and their children is important because fathers have a great influence on their children. Contact between fathers and children from prison is different or more difficult than it normally is. This applies even when they are out of detention.

Humanitas volunteers help fathers maintain good contact with their children and family. They offer information, training and support to (former) detained parents and their children with the aim of promoting a good return within the family and society. The guiding principle here is that successful reintegration of the parent makes an important contribution to preventing social drop-out of the children involved.
